Hi, I'm Ashley Simmons — Chief Growth Strategist, founder of S3 Growth Agency, and the person who's going to ask the questions no one else has asked you about your marketing.

It started with passion. And a frustration.

After 20+ years in advertising and marketing — from small local campaigns to nationwide strategy — I kept seeing the same gap. Small business owners who couldn't afford a big agency retainer but absolutely needed real strategic support. Owners who were working with vendors, running tactics, spending money — and still couldn't tell you whether any of it was actually moving the needle.

I come from a long line of entrepreneurs. I know what a business means to a family. I know what's at stake. And I knew I had to do something about it.

So when I started consulting, I'd ask the questions that apparently no one else was asking: Why this channel? What's your conversion rate? If this isn't working, why are we still doing it? The fact that those questions felt surprising to people told me everything I needed to know. In the fall of 2024, I built S3 Growth Agency.

I'm what's known as a T-shaped strategist. That means I have the breadth to see across your entire business — marketing, sales, systems, brand, customer experience — and the depth to go as far as the strategy needs to go. I understand how every piece works, how they connect, and how to tie it all back to one thing: your revenue goals.

I don't execute alone. I work alongside a team of integrators and specialists — in digital media, creative, PR, photography, and content — who are exceptional at what they do. My job is to be the strategic brain that makes sure every tactic is in service of a bigger plan, not just filling a content calendar.

And here's something I want to be clear about: I have deep respect for the social media managers and content creators doing great work for businesses in communities across the country. That work matters. What S3 adds is the layer above — the strategy that makes sure the content they're creating is built on a clear message, aimed at the right audience, and measured against real business outcomes. We partner alongside existing vendors all the time. The goal is never to replace what's working. The goal is growth.
